Valerie Velasco (Cusco - Peru 1981) is an illustrator, stylist and graphic designer and art teacher. Graduated from National Diego University Quispe Tito, since 1999 she has had seventeen individual exhibitions and participated in various group exhibitions, residencies and short film festivals. During her wanderings, she also formed art collectives Beam and Project 3399. She works on various short and feature films as an art director and other positions related to this field.
Her artistic work is a constant search for answers to the social and religious questions of his culture, which leads him to experiment and produce through different artistic media; in this way, she uses the exhibition as her main means of expression, including painting, drawing, video, animation, digital photography, illustration and assemblage.
